FAQWhere do I get the true type fonts from?See the links page. You can also visit ftpsearch.lycos.com and, for example, type cyberbit. That will point to you to all the sites carrying the cyberbit unicode font. Why can't I get BIG5 pages printed right? Some versions of Netscape internally process the BIG5 pages and converts them to EUC-TW. If this is the case you will have to select EUC-TW as the encoding to use when you want to print BIG5 pages I get a "Couldn't create glyph" errorOne or more of your fonts are not present. Check the fontpath line that applies to you entry if you are using a configuration file or check the command line. The program is really picky about the format so that an extra comma or space could be the cause. It is better to start off with just one font and then add the rest. I got the font for my language but the printout is full of squaresAn empty square is the font's way of saying "I don't know what character you are talking about". Most likely the problem is that the font does not have the encoding you specified (Unicode by default). Specify the code map in your font list. Sometimes trying ISO_8859-1 can help. I get errors about uncompleted character conversionsGenerally you can ignore these. Some pages declare their content to be a certain character set and then use characters from another set. Of course, if you get no printout at all that means that you probably specified the wrong character set. |
